MARK EASTMAN

An experimental studio portrait series capturing Mark Eastman, the lead designer behind MARK EASTMAN and Dappered by Mark Eastman. A graduate of UTT’s Fashion Design programme who launched his bowtie line in 2013 before debuting his first menswear collection at Caribbean Fashion Week 2015 Facebook, Mark brings his keen eye for form and fashion to both sides of the camera. This creative session explores the intersection of movement and stillness through dynamic light trail techniques, with Mark styling himself in his signature aesthetic. As a designer who focuses on form, fashion, function and fun developing an amalgamation of streetwear, resort wear and expert tailoring Facebook these portraits capture the creative energy of someone who has been translating visual concepts into reality since childhood. The light trails become visual metaphors for a designer constantly in motion, pushing boundaries within Trinidad and Tobago’s fashion landscape.
