NICHOLAS HUGGINS

Studio and north coast location portraits of Nicholas Huggins, created in December 2024 ahead of his exhibition "Field Trip" at the Art Society of Trinidad and Tobago. Huggins is the founder of Backyard Design Co, an award-winning creative studio with multiple Gold and Silver Addy awards and the Charlie Award for his steelpan-themed Google Doodle. His large-scale installations can be found at C3 Centre, East Gates Mall, and the Phase 2 panyard, and he has shaped album art for Kes The Band. These portraits capture the artist between the studio and the landscape, the same territory his work occupies.
