STERLING HENDERSON

Sep 2025

Studio portraits of Sterling Henderson, created for his personal archive and an online training course, weeks before his passing on September 20, 2025. For over two decades, Sterling's voice was synonymous with network journalism at i95.5FM, where he served as deputy head of news. Beyond the newsroom, he was a poet inspired by Alice Walker, a vocalist and member of the Belvedere singers, and the voice behind the EP "When Soca Full Meh Mouth." He studied journalism at Carimac, UWI Mona, and interned at the BBC in London. These became his last portraits.
